Henry’s new book, Original Love, will be published on July 9, 2024. To celebrate, Henry is co-hosting a very special book launch event at Mountain Cloud Zen Center on the date of publishing!
Eric Zimmer, host of the podcast The One You Feed, will engage in a conversation with Henry about the book. Eric, a talented behavior coach, Certified Interfaith Spiritual Director, podcast host, and writer, will record this live exchange for his podcast.
The event will also feature a book signing, offering you the chance to purchase a copy and have it personally signed by Henry! If you’d like to pre-order a copy of the book, use the link below, and Garcia Street Books will have your copy ready for you at the event!

Join Henry for a very special book reading on Friday July 19 at The Alembic in Berkeley, CA. Henry will read from his new book Original Love: The Four Inns on the Path of Awakening.
Henry will read key passages from the book, and share stories, reflections and insights on:
- How the book came to be
- Why its vision is a vital contribution to the current landscape of meditation practice
- The condition in which we currently find our world and lives.
Hardcover copies will be available for purchase, and Henry will be available afterwards for book signing.
Co-founded by Michael Taft (a frequent Original Love guest teacher), The Alembic is a beautiful nonprofit center in Berkeley, CA that is “committed to experiments in transformation.”
